This makes the search engines VERY very happy, now go back to the pretty version

Randy Caruso WEBSITE DESIGN

This can be complicated stuff and you need somebody on the small details. If I'm designing a site for you I'll happily handle this: it's my job. Design, Color, Texture, CSS, Domain registration, Hosting, email -all of it.

All day, every day.

I'll consult with you on strategy and give you honest experienced feedback on where you're headed. First time sites can be a bear for the client -you end up finding out about all the things you think you might need but really don't. I won't sell you on things like lots of Flash or a Content Management System.

Don't just redesign: ReAlign

Look at the traffic stats, what are people viewing on your current site? Move that to the front end and give them more of it. Deep traffic analysis can be a big surprise.

Build by Layers

I believe in this. Do your first site minimally and add to it over time. Too often people come into the process wanting everything only to start tearing it back a few weeks later.

Once the graphics for a site are done, they can be spread around to the other areas of your plan. Where else should your Logo be? And who's going to actually print everything and manage that whole hornets nest? I've got a good list of suppliers that will make life easier for both of us. A great example is the business and postcard printers by the name of www.4x6.com Order a sample pack and check out the satin finish they use. Nothing comes close.

Standards Based Design: CSS

Cascading Style Sheets. It's difficult to not rant about this. CSS is a language applied to a website that allows for a complete separation between your content and your style/ graphics. This way when a search engine wanders by it sees only words, NOT pictures of words. Just take a guess how well your ranking does when that happens. This is what this page looks like without the CSS applied to it.

Yes yes, so how much?

The range can really vary. A simple site can be $1200 and range up to $3500 for a rich, content/media heavy site. E-Commerce elements would push that up a bit. This ballpark price depends on a lot of different factors though and I'd be happy to go over them line by line with you. It goes along way to do the right project for the right price and everybody gets to be happy.
